A Royal Tea Affair

Ladies Who Brunch Atlanta Summer Seminar

Challenge

Ladies Who Brunch Atlanta has traveled nationally creating events that provide an outlet for current and aspiring entrepreneurial women to connect, gather and share knowledge. When preparing for their summer seminar, our team was selected to produce the Royal Tea Affair at the illustrious Biltmore ballrooms in Midtown Atlanta.

What we did

Experience Production / Design Fabrication / Vendor Procurement & Management

Elegance & Royalty

The panel table, flushed with gold linen and a sparkling sequin tablerunner, featured large bouquets of pink Blushing Akito roses, tall ornate metal candelabras where we placed buds of carnations under bell jars. To give the panel table a glowing effect, we placed LED uplights behind the table in hues of soft whites and pink.

The entire story of the decor within the historic walls of the Biltmore ballroom was one of elegance and royalty. We wanted guests to feel like they could leave all of their issues, fears, and insecurities at the registration area and walk into the space where their hopes, dreams, and deepest desires could be manifested in a very powerful, inspirational, and empowering environment.

Sweet Treats

Guests waited in the pre-function space as anxiety built up to be able to see and be a part of the highly anticipated event. The entrance to the ballroom was closed with layers of sheer ivory drapes and The SOA Brand staff, held guests until just the right moment before the event. Guests clamored to get in to the space while taking pictures and being awed by the romantic layout.

Tables hosted ombre shades of pink Aphrodite roses or hot pink Elite carnations with glowing vanilla scented candles sponsored by Gifts from a Virgo. Petal leaf teacups and saucers featured custom blended tea from JuiTea and was a part of both the decor and the tea toast in which participants made their declarations to their dreams and the entrepreneurial endeavors.

Custom crafted tea sandwiches and bites provided by Pretti Plates kept guests appetite calm while the custom dessert buffet from Prissy Sweet Cake Treats wowed guests with an over the top display and delectable assortment of sweet treats.

Everything from the selection of the flowers to the arrangement of the sponsored items on the tables to the design of the dessert table to the way our staff catered to the needs of our guests was a part of that royal story.

Femme Fatale

The star studded panel included a lineup of women who have not only achieved vast notoriety but have amassed true success in the world of business.

The femme fatale panel included Emily B.(celebrity stylist and shoe designer), Latasha Wright (celebrity makeup artist and cosmetic line creator), Necole Bitchie (entertainment blogger),  Kandi Burruss (Grammy Award Winning Artist and serial entrepreneur), and Cynthia Bailey (Bailey Agency and supermodel).

The panel was hosted & moderated by Ladies Who Brunch Atlanta Creators and Founders – Dayira Jones and Bianca Rush. Music for the event was provided by celebrity DJ Princess Cut (Sweetbox Jones).

The Royal Tea was quite the affair. We’d like to take a moment to thank everyone who helped to make this event a huge success:
