Spooktacular! Halloween Events in Atlanta You MUST Attend

People in Atlanta love to have a good time and everyone knows it would not be The SOA Brand if we did not give you a list of fun filled events to attend. Throughout this year, we have gone from Valentine’s Day, to Memorial Day, to summer events, to September events, and now we present to you:  Spooktacular! Halloween Events in Atlanta You MUST Attend.

Pumpkin Festival at Stone Mountain (Now through 10/31/2014)

Highway 70 East Stone Mountain, GA 30086

Pumpkinpalooza takes the stage with an energy filled game show where the audience members are picked to participate in a series of games such as Trick or Treat Scavenger Hunt and Pie Eating Contests. This event is great for the whole family to get into the spirit of Halloween with all of the Stone Mountain Park attractions. You can also enjoy the wonderful view from 825 feet into the air on the Summit Skyride.



Boo at the Zoo (Now through 10/26/2014)

800 Cherokee Ave Atlanta, GA 30315

Come and enjoy the treats, the characters, and the adventures with more than 1,500 animals at the playful Atlanta Zoo. There will be events such as dance party, costume contests, and arts and crafts, so be sure to bring the whole family. Boo at the Zoo will also be accepting old cell phones for recycling. Talk about environmentally friendly right?

Scary Party 5 (10/24/2014-10/25/2014)


45 13th St Atlanta, GA 30309

If you know Atlanta, you know we love partying. Scary Party 5 is Midtown’s biggest Halloween party in the city. With 8 bars and clubs, complimentary drinks, appetizers at registration, 3 costume contest, and an after party, this event is one you will not forget. Last year over 3000 people attended and this year it is going to be better than ever. Registration is going to be open from 7pm-12am, so do not miss out!

A Spooktacular Improv Comedy Show (10/26/2014)

My Sister’s Room

1217 Glenwood Ave Atlanta, GA 30316

Once a month, performers from all over the metro Atlanta area gather to create a wonderful night of great laughs. This event is great for a date night or even a night out with the girls. During the show, audience members are encouraged to join the actors on stage and be a part of the performance. General admission is currently $5 and if you are a student, you may be able to get a discount.



Creepy Crawl 3 (10/25/2014- 10/26/2014)

Stout Irish Pub

56 East Andrews Dr Atlanta, GA 30305

Not only do you have Scary Party 5 on Friday night, Buckhead is also bringing Creepy Crawl 3 to the city on Saturday night. Buckhead will never be the same after the weekend before Halloween. With 7 bars, complimentary drinks, free pizza, 3 costume parties, and an after party this event is one you won’t want to miss. Registration is 7pm-12 am, and the event ends at 3am.

Taste of Atlanta (10/24/2014-10/26/2014)

Tech Square at Midtown

3 Days. 90 Restaurants. 300 Tastes.

Taste of Atlanta is back and bigger than ever as they celebrate their 13th year. This year’s event takes festival-goers on a culinary adventure through the city’s many diverse neighborhoods by featuring the restaurants that give the Atlanta community their personally. This is your chance to sample them all and you might end up finding a new favorite restaurant.
