Mouth Party: French Toast…3-mixed

It’s the morning after an event and your team is at your house, suite, or hotel room knocked out and tired from the night before. Even though the event is over, the event for your team appreciation is JUST beginning…

OR your daughter hosted her birthday slumber party and you refuse to put the time and energy into making Mickey Mouse pancakes…

Here’s a really simple recipe that can be remixed in more than three ways, that not even the pickiest of five year olds can say no to!

French Toast 3 Mixed

Ingredients (recipe is for four french toasts)

Loaf of bread (I used whole wheat bread, sourdough is also great)

1 egg for every four slices of bread

1/3 cup of milk (more if your recipe calls for it)

2 teaspoons of cinnamon

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 tablespoon butter

Add small frying pan to medium heat. In a medium sized bowl, add eggs, milk, cinnamon, and pure vanilla extract. Grease pan with butter half tablespoon of butter. Dip each bread slice into egg mixture until fully coated on both sides and place into pan. Cook on each side for about 3-5 minutes and set aside.

For French Toast Sticks

Cut french toast into three to four strips and serve standing in pool of maple syrup. Enjoy!

For Stuffed French Toast

On a pool of maple syrup, add one french toast covered with fruit preserves, top with another french toast and sprinkle with confectioners sugar. The sugary goodness is irresistible!

For French Toast Griddle

Serve sandwich style with a fried egg and warm sausage…if you’re adventurous add cheese and grill again until melted.
