DIY Tuesday: A Real Life Pinspiration Board

Is anyone else addicted to Pinterest like we are? To the point where you’ve started putting pictures on your wall to resemble “boards”? Come on don’t be shy, it’s okay.  We admit it too. But what if you could ACTUALLY have a beautiful and organized Pinspiration board in your home office?

We spotted this awesome DIY on eyes on sparrow! Check out their how to and our inspired remix!

Materials Needed:

3 cork boards (or more if you’re extreme)

fabric of your choice (about 1/2 yard board)



Cut fabric to fit boards (leave about 1-2 inches of fabric out to properly cover board)

SOA Remix:


2in x 4in plywood cut into three equal parts

cotton filling

fabric of your choice



Cut cotton fill to fit over middle of board

Cut fabric with 1-2 inches around board

Staple fabric on opposite side of board. Pull tight and staple other side. Repeat for remaining two sides

Hang on wall

Place inspiring images, words, and textures on to board with pins of your choice
